NSARE Announces Second Round of RailShows

Our first round of ‘RailShows’, attracted more than 400 delegates from nearly 200 organisations at 15 events across England and Scotland, including our AGM. We are about to embark on a second round of events which will be aimed principally at FE Colleges, Universities and companies who have not yet engaged with us. The first four events will be held:

Each event will commence at 2pm with Registration and refreshments from 1pm. Additional dates will be added where there is sufficient local demand.
Speakers will include Gil Howarth, Chief Executive and Bill Alexander, Head of Training & Skills. They will present the new ‘Skills Strategy for the Railway Engineering Sector’, which is in the process of being endorsed by the NSARE Board for submission to Government. They will also present up-to-date progress reports on current NSARE activities including Membership, Industry Promotion, Skills Forecasting, Training Accreditation and the Skills Passport.
